About Me

My expertise has been sought for numerous articles, including for college newspapers, the Boston Globe, and SELF magazine.

EXPERIENCE
I have considerable experience providing individual therapy, sport psychology services, workshops, and supervision for masters and doctoral students. I am a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology and I provide mentorship for graduate students pursuing their CMPC.

My private practice focuses on providing individual therapy and sport and performance psychology services to college students and adults. Currently, I am able to serve anyone located in New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, or any of the 40+ PSYPACT states (found here).

I have trained in a variety of places, including Yale School of Medicine, University of Chicago Medical Center, and the college counseling center at Indiana University. I have authored several published articles and have taught undergraduate and graduate-level classes. Currently, I partner with Northeastern University athletics to provide sport psychology and therapeutic services to their Division-I athletes, and Deloitte where I provide performance enhancement services to employees going through the promotion process. I am listed in the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee Mental Health and Mental Performance Directories, and I was previously on faculty at Boston University in their Sport Psychology program.

I am originally from New York, and attended the University of Vermont for my undergraduate studies where I competed on the Division-I swim team. In semi-retirement, I still compete occasionally at the USA Master’s Swimming level.
